Learning to speak English is one of the best things someone can do to improve their upward mobility and economic situation.

We’re excited to make that a possibility for you.

The inspiration for Movie Mouth is music. As a jazz saxophonist, our founder learned improvisation, which is when musicians compose music while playing. Musicians might only know a few songs but they can take the various musical phrases they have learned and rearrange them spontaneously. This process becomes an interactive “conversation” with the other musicians.

This musical approach is very similar to how we all learned our first language – we watched and listened to people speaking to us, imitated what we heard, and then applied the words we learned to communicate with others.

Movie Mouth enables you to learn English in the same way – you watch and listen to the movies, practice what you hear through the interactive learning exercises, and then apply what you’ve learned in conversations.
